About

Woodside Bowling Club is a small but very active club, located in the Recreation and Sporting grounds at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills. The Club offers pennant and social competition for the local community.

The Woodside Bowling Club has teams competing in pennants on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday during the summer months.

Barefoot Bowls is offered on Wednesday evenings from November to March, commencing 6.15 pm..   This is a great opportunity to try your hand at lawn bowling, have some fun and enjoy the hospitality of a sausage sizzle and the bar facilities.  The club coach is available to assist novices to start bowling.

During the winter months, the club runs social bowls on Saturday afternoons.  Because the greens are synthetic (and reputed to be one of the best greens in the Hills), we are able to play most Saturdays.

The clubrooms are open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4.30 pm until 7.30 pm.

Visitors are most welcome.  If you are interested in participating in lawn bowls, please contact Alex Reynolds (0408 832 434) or Dot Keough (0411 069 472).
